Before we criticize our fellow Zambians for their negative actions towards Chinese investors, have we asked ourselves to why is it that mostly it’s a war between Zambians working for these Chinese companies and Chinese investors?

We have so many investors in this Country from different continents around the globe. We have Indians, Arabs, Boers, etc, as investors and we don’t hear cases of violence and discrimination against Zambians! But why is it that issues between Zambians and Chinese investors are escalating and are on a rampage?

Leaders have to look into this matter and understand that there reasons behind the actions! Probably it could be that there is too much disrespect and violation of labour laws from these Chinese investors, henceforth Zambians react in defence of their rights!

Despite the violation of labour rights and laws, it’s unacceptable to take the law in the hands, in case of any grievance at work no wonder we have human capital department or other relevant authorities that handle issues to do with workers! Otherwise Chinese investors have to be accounted for their poor work conditions! We are citizens of Zambia and our Country is our rights and entitlement! We have to feel the sense of belonging!
